When it comes to compatibility, the Bedside Extend-A-Rail is suitable for traditional bed types like mattresses on box springs or slats, with thickness between 8 and 15 inches. It is not recommended for use on adjustable beds, hospital beds, or extra soft mattresses. The rail can be installed on either side of the bed without any modifications.
